Introduction
On the sunny afternoon of 17th June 2023, over 200 passionate Product Managers and Designers gathered for the highly anticipated Product Enthusiasts’ Meetup of June 2023 at weDevs Headquarters, Dhaka.
Although we wanted to hold it small, the sheer interest of people forced us to think this as a big event. Excited Product Managers and Product Designers filled out the registration form in a few hours. We had more than 250+ Product Enthusiasts wanting to join the event in less than 6 hours. Unfortunately, our capacity was small and we had to be selective while choosing the audience.
This event was a remarkable opportunity for Product professionals from various renowned companies in Bangladesh to come together, share knowledge, and foster a sense of community in the product development sphere. With an impressive lineup of speakers and a vibrant atmosphere, the event proved to be an invaluable experience for all attendees.
Fostering a Community of Product Experts
The Product Enthusiasts’ Meetup aimed to bring together product managers and designers from diverse backgrounds, providing a learning, collaboration, and networking platform. The event attracted professionals from esteemed Bangladeshi companies such as Pathao, bKash, GoZayaan, JoulesLab, Brainstation-23 LTD, XpeedStudio, Notionhive, BuddyBoss, Programming Hero, WPPOOL, ShopUp, iFarmer Limited, and many more. This diverse representation further enhanced the learning opportunities and perspectives shared throughout the day.
Insightful Sessions by Industry Experts
One of the highlights of the meetup was the series of informal yet practical sessions conducted by seven distinguished speakers. Each speaker brought their expertise and experiences to the forefront. The sessions were very informal, under 10 min, without any slides.
Interactive Q&A Sessions
To further engage the attendees and encourage knowledge sharing, each session was followed by a dedicated Q&A session. The participants actively participated, raising thought-provoking questions and seeking clarification on various product management and design aspects.
Networking Opportunities
Aside from the insightful sessions, the Product Enthusiasts’ Meetup also offered ample networking opportunities. During breaks and networking sessions, participants could connect with like-minded professionals, exchange ideas, and build meaningful connections.
There was a heavy rain after the unofficial ending of the event. This proved to be a great opportunity to stay late in the office and experienced Product Professionals connected with lot of new comers of this industry, shared their knowledge and expertise helping others to grow.
A new Telegram community has been formed to foster the Product Enthusiasts’ Community. The event was unofficially closed just before the Maghrib prayer, offering attendees to stay late to network in the open space. Attendees stayed late and engaged in lively networking sessions till late at night.

The Product Enthusiasts’ Meetup at the weDevs HQ was an inspiring and empowering event for Bangladesh product managers and product designers.
With over 200 attendees from renowned companies nationwide, the meetup successfully fostered a sense of community and shared learning. We plan to hold Product Enthusiasts’ Meetup for product professionals more frequently (Monthly/Once every two months) in the future.
